Held at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York, the event brought together runners, walkers, families, and community supporters to advance an important cause: educating the public about living organ donation and its life-changing impact on individuals and families.
Bringing the Community Together for a Life-Saving Cause
Give Life NY is a nonprofit foundation established in 2024 with a mission to increase awareness of living organ donation through community engagement and fundraising.
Its annual 5K Run/Walk welcomes participants from all backgrounds, including those with no personal connection to organ donation. The event also offers virtual participation opportunities and a children’s fun run, making it accessible to families and supporters of different ages and abilities.
Net proceeds from the event benefit qualifying nonprofit organizations dedicated to organ donation awareness and education.

Give Life NY was founded to help more people understand the importance of living organ donation and encourage conversations that could ultimately save lives.
Co-directors Mindy Davidson and Bob Goldfarb lead the organization; both are runners and non-directed living organ donors. Their personal commitment to the cause drives the organization’s mission to increase awareness and inspire others to make a difference.
