Partner Renato Matos will present at a New York City Bar CLE program on the topic “Special Considerations for Transfers of Development Rights to & from Properties Owned by Not-for-Profit Organizations”.

The evening’s program is sponsored by the Land Use Planning & Zoning Committee and is titled “The Do’s & Don’t of Zoning Lot Mergers & Development Rights Transfers in New York City. It will cover an overview of current New York City law governing zoning lot mergers and the transfer of unused development rights, known as “air rights,” between contiguous and non-contiguous lots, as well as the mechanics and practical considerations involved in such matters.
